Parent Teacher Conferences are coming up on March 15th and 16th. Please feel free to contact any of your students teachers to set up a specific meeting time.
The PT Conference format will be as follows:
Wednesday March 15th:
4:00-5:00 pre-scheduled meetings with teachers
5:00-6:00 open meeting times
Thursday March 16th:
6:00-7:00 pre-scheduled meetings with teachers
7:00-8:00 open meeting times and Wellness Panel (starting at 7:15 in the commons)
On Thursday the 16th we will have an opportunity for parents to ask questions, and be provided information from our Wellness Panel (Principal, Counselor, School Psychologist, School Resource Officer, etc.) about student technology and social media usage. This will be incorporated into our PT Conference night, it will begin at 7:15 in the LMS Commons.
Wyoming State Testing (PAWS) is planned for March 14th, 15th, and 16th.
- On Tuesday there will be no regular class periods, all grades will test in Reading.
- On Wednesday it is a regular schedule, except 8th graders will be taking their Science tests in the afternoon.
- On Thursday there will be no regular class periods, all grades will test in Math. (Students should be sure to bring their calculators to school for testing)
*We will also hold our end of 3rd quarter dance at the end of the day on Thursday. Students who have missing assignments or failing/near failing grades may be pulled from the dance by their teachers.
Please make sure your child gets a full nights rest during that time. We aim to provide our students with the best testing environment possible.
Track is the next extracurricular activity available to MS student-athletes. Track practice will begin March 20th after school.
