The LMS Student of the Month is Lily Edwards, a 6th grade student.

 

On Friday May 19th (this event was rescheduled from May 5th) there will be a student assembly at 12:00 p.m. in the LMS gym to provide our students information about Wyoming's Safe2tell program.  The mission of Safe2Tell Wyoming is to ensure that every student, parent, teacher and community member has access to a safe and anonymous way to report any concerns to their safety or the safety of others, with a focus on early intervention and prevention through awareness and education.  Parents and community members are also invited to attend.  For more information please contact the middle school office or visit the Safe2tell website http://safe2tellwy.org/

 

It's concert season! Please reference the information below about rehersal times and travel between buildings for our Band and Music Performance classes.

 

Jazz Band:

Rehearsal at 7:00 a.m. on Thursday next week (5/11)

Rehearsal at 7:00 a.m. on Monday at the high school the next week (5/15)

 

Band Classes:

7^th/8^th grade band traveling to the high school during class on Thursday 5/11 (4^th period 10:00—11:00)

6^th grade band traveling to the high school during class on Monday 5/15 (2^nd period 9:00—10:00)

All band students traveling to the high school during flex on Monday 5/15 (2:45—3:15)

7^th/8^th grade band traveling to the high school on Monday 5/22 (8:45—10:15)

 

Music Performance:

3^rd period class dress rehearsal at 3:30 in the high school MPR next Friday (5/12)

1^st period class traveling to high school during class 5/1 (1^st period 8:00—9:00)

 

A reminder for all parents, when dropping your student off at school, remain in the student drop off lane, have your child exit the vehicle from the passenger side and use the crosswalk.  Your assistance in maintaining a safe environment in the parking lot is greatly appreciated.
