ReadnRap History

Reading group photo

ReadnRap is almost 30 years old!

This program was developed when the need for middle school students to interact with adults on a positive, non-threatening level was noticed. Talking about a book with a parent or other trusted adult can open avenues for other types of discussions. Over the past several years, there have been many positive comments from students, parents, community members, grandparents, educators and board members who have enjoyed their participation in this yearly event.

To complete this year's ReadnRap virtual activities,
follow these simple steps. Complete them all in order
to enter a prize drawing!

1. Watch this video.

2. Here are the steps again:
To have a discussion with your partner, take turns
rolling the dice to see which question in the table
you will answer. Do this 6+ times.

3. Click the dice to roll them. You may want to use 2 devices or a split screen.
