The LMS Student of the Month is Rachael Wimmler, a 7th grade student.  Please congratulate her when you see her!

 

The eligibility list will be pulled next Thursday.  Please talk with your student about their grades and remind them not to wait to speak with their teacher about redoing work.   Students who are failing a class next Thursday will be given a one week grace period to bring their grade back to passing before becoming ineligible.

 

We will no longer be sending home monthly newsletters in hard copy format.  Please check each teachers individual webpage to find out about the activities going on in their classrooms.

 

After school tutoring is available to all students.  It runs from 3:30 to 4:30 Monday – Thursday (For bus riders there is a bus available which will pick students up at 4:30).  We will not have any afternoon tutoring or Friday school this year.  Early morning tutoring is also now available Monday – Friday starting at 7:00 a.m.

Any parents who are interested in serving as a member of our Parent and Community Advisory Counsel (PCAC) can pick up an application in the MS office or print off the form attached at the bottom of this page.  Applications must be submitted no later than September 16th to be considered. 

All iPad paperwork must be filled out before the iPads can go home.  iPads have been handed out to all students, but will stay at school for the first month and will be allowed home with students on September 26th.  If you need assistance finding your students school id number please contact the LMS office (548-6553).

Our school calendar has been updated on the school webpage.  Please check out that calendar for school activity information.  There is a link at the bottom of this page that will take you to the LMS calendar.  Once there, you can subscribe to that calendar and link it to your personal calendar to stay updated on activities. 

Any parents interested in getting these weekly bulletins in email form should contact the MS office and make sure their email is on file in PowerSchool. (If your email is in PowerSchool and you aren't receiving the email check you SPAM folder.)

Ms. Schreiner would like to remind all jazz band students to meet for practice at 7:00 Tuesday morning here at the MS.
